The body damage caused by radiation depends on the following six factors:
a. The amount and type of shielding the person used.
b. The strength of the radiation source.
c. The distance the person was from the radiation source.
d. The type of radiation.
e. How long the patient was exposed.
f. How much of his body was exposed.
