Broad Spectrum Antibiotics

This is a general term, describing any of numerous classes of antibiotics. Common to all of them is their ability to effectively treat a wide range of bacteria.

These antibiotics would include:

Cephalosporin (1st Generation)

Cephalosporin (3rd Generation)

Fluoroquinolones
