There is an entire science devoted to how students learn best off of screens. This includes using both audio and video input that is mutually supportive and not in conflict. It includes keeping videos short, tightly edited, and focused on the topic, without extraneous images, movement or noise. Many of the videos include an Avatar (Dr. Hughey) as a familiar guide through these sometimes complex clinical issues. These videos have been designed to incorporate these educational features, specifically to meet the needs of medical and nursing professionals, and those in training for those professions.
