Clearing the underbrush, invasive species, fallen trees, and overcrowded trees on this 33 acres was clearly beyond my skills, time and energy.
So I brought in the heavy equipment, a Forest Mulcher.
This carbide-tipped monster, mounted on a Caterpiller Skid Steer, could chew through unwanted forest, mulch up the wood, and spit it out on the ground.
Once I got the heavy lifting done with the forest mulcher, I could resume my Forest Management Plan, and get some wildflowers planted.
I thought you’d enjoy seeing a couple minutes of the Forest Mulcher in action in my forest.
