Leslie DeMoulin was Tom Cartmell’s uncle. Tom’s mother, Oradelle (who died in 1936), had one sister, Lillie DeMoulin, and one brother, Leslie Demoulin.

Leslie lived a block away from Erastus, Tom Cartmell’s grandfather, in the town of Greenville. Leslie worked at the DeMoulin Brothers factory, which produced Army uniforms during WWII, and other materials.

After the war, Leslie became President of DeMoulin Brothers, where he remained until 1963, when his son, Bill DeMoulin (A cousin of Tom Cartmell’s and childhood friend) took over as President.
