Fitting into “God’s Big Tent”

I think that God’s Big Quaker Tent, at its heart, has a Christian spirit. Jesus I think of as opening his arms to all different types of people…. I think it’s a loving idea. If it was my tent I’d say, ‘Come on in! Have a beer!

Time for reflection at the Scottish Parliament

Alastair Cameron, clerk of South East Scotland Area Meeting, led the Scottish Parliament in “Time for Reflection”. Quoting our advice to “Respect the laws of the state but let your first loyalty be to God’s purposes”, his theme was how Quakers sometimes feel driven to take action that leads to arrest.
