Your job is to assist the mother with\u00a0her work and to protect the baby.<\/p>\n<p>b. Evacuate the mother, if possible, unless her labor has progressed to the\u00a0second stage.<\/p>\n<p>c. Once the baby&#8217;s head delivers, the baby&#8217;s airway must be open, and the baby\u00a0must breathe.<\/p>\n<p>d. Be alert for signs of excessive bleeding in the mother.<\/p>\n<p>e. If the progress of labor and delivery seems abnormal, evacuate the mother as\u00a0soon as possible.
