The emphasis is upon computations related to<br \/>\nsolutions and their concentrations. If you feel that you need a more basic review of mathematics before taking this subcourse, you should request Subcourse MD0900, Basic Mathematics, which covers addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers; decimals, and fractions; and conversions to and from the metric<br \/>\nsystem. If you need a basic review of chemistry, you should request Subcourse MD0803, General Chemistry.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">You must be able to solve the types of problems included in the lesson exercises and the examination if you are to perform well in the clinical laboratory.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\">Subcourse Components:<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This subcourse consists of nine lessons and Appendices.
