This online training was prepared for 4th year medical students in a\u00a0 clinical elective in obstetrics & gynecology.<\/p>\n

This remote learning experience is designed to complement in-person education with asynchronous video training. The instruction spans a range of important OB-GYN issues.<\/p>\n

You have already completed your introductory training, but should you feel you need a refresher, feel free to visit our Basic Obstetrics & Gynecology website.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

I have several training areas I’d recommend for you, regardless of your interest in either obstetrics and gynecology.<\/p>\n

Advanced Training<\/strong><\/a>: 31 important topics in obstetrics & gynecology are explored in depth. We use longer videos, basic science tie-ins, and patient perspectives to provide a more complete picture of physiologic and disease processes.<\/p>\n

Procedures<\/strong>:\u00a0<\/a> 36 mostly short videos showing you how to perform common OB-GYN technical skills. As you will be expected to perform many of these skills, I want you to have the opportunity to watch them with some explanations.<\/p>\n

Basic Science Review<\/a>:<\/strong> 30 videos produced by APGO, University of Michigan and Johns Hopkins University, designed to link basic science to clinical OB-GYN practice.<\/p>\n

None of the videos on this website are secret or restricted, and anyone can access them online without the use of this website. But it would take you a while to find them all, sort through them and pass over the ones that are not very good or are outdated.
