Many of you will have completed some form of Intern ‘Boot Camp’ training, offered either from your medical school or your postgraduate training site.
In preparation for these educational programs, you likely will find it useful to invest in some anticipatory education. Some short videos will work well for this purpose. Videos can be effective and efficient.
I’ve assembled this collection of short videos to serve as an introduction to the many skills you’ll need to develop. There are many good videos available on these topics, but some are much longer, not as well done, or are not so useful for various reasons. Consider these videos pre-screened for you.
Essential Pre-Training for Intern Orientation
If you watch all of them at normal speed, it will take a little over 4 hours. But for many, your current knowledge and skill renders some of the videos not relevant. Speeding up the playback speed will also shorten the time needed to review the videos.
