\r\n Tom is having his last wisdom tooth pulled. He had planned to fly with his instructor from Mather Field<\/a> to Chicago to surprise everyone, but had to cancel because of the weather.\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>Sun. night.<\/p>\n

Dear Dad,<\/p>\n

Wanted to drop you a line before going to bed and let you know that I am still around and thinking of you. I really thought this week would never end, it was pretty rough. However, it isn’t too bad and it can’t last too long. We still are on the morning schedule which means getting up at 4:30 and tomorrow afternoon I am having my last wisdom tooth taken out, I am hoping it won’t knock me out of any flying, but don’t think it will.<\/p>\n

I received your letter and was really glad to hear from you. As you can see they have changed our address, they are trying to get things lined up alittle better over in the mail room. I haven’t heard from Mary Beth Schwartz and I doubt very much if I do after her and Mary getting together that Sat. evening.<\/p>\n

Did you get to see the ball game last Mon?<\/p>\n

Mort Blaisdell’s girl<\/a> came up from Berkeley this weekend. I think we might go down to Berkeley in a couple more week ends. Tell Elaine I’ll look up Kay, Blais knows where they live and it isn’t very far from his home.<\/p>\n

Thanks for sending Bob’s<\/a> letter, when you see his new address in the advocate send it to me.<\/p>\n

I was going to surprise you folks and fly in to Chicago next Fri. night. In fact we had a plane and everything planned and then they cancelled it because the weather for May didn’t look good for that part of the country. My instructor is a 2nd Lt. from Chicago and we really had things planned, we were going to leave here Fri. at midnight, re-fuel in Cheyenne and get in Chicago about 10:00 Sat. morning and then return Sun. morning. We might be able to make it sometime later but at the present it is off. Maybe we’ll have better luck next time.<\/p>\n

Well Dad I am going to have to get to bed so had better close. Goodnight –<\/p>\n
