While designed for medical students, the objectives are also appropriate for other professional students at the basic or introductory level of women’s healthcare.

The video content was drawn from a variety of sources, including the APGO collections on YouTube. Some content was drawn from other sources, notably whenever APGO did not have a video to match one of their educational objectives or whenever procedural demonstrations were needed.

I recommend you spend the time necessary to review all of these videos.

It is an efficient way to learn, so you won’t be wasting your time.

Watching all the videos at normal speed will take about 20 hours.

Once you have covered all of these videos, feel free to explore the additional videos in the “Advanced Training” section, as they will provide more depth to your clinical understanding.

Some Words of Advice on Watching These Videos

I encourage you to speed up these videos. Studies have shown that even untrained individuals can handle up to 1.5x speed without any significant loss in comprehension, either short or long-term.

Occasionally, you may need to slow down the videos. That’s OK too. Or go back and repeat some of the video.

Try to not be put off by the developers’ use of cartoon characters, double-meaning patient names and annoying music in the introductory videos. The producers of the videos were, I believe, trying to keep things light and entertaining. Many video watchers will find these additions distracting and not supportive of the learning.
