The C-12 Huron is a twin-engine logistics
aircraft carrying passengers and cargo between military installations.
Powered by two turboprop engines, the C-12 can deliver a total payload
of up to 4,215 pounds. The cabin can readily accommodate cargo, passengers
or both. It is also equipped to accept litter patients in medical
evacuation missions.
It cruises at 240 to 260 knots, with 5-6 hours of endurance, under
normal circumstances.
It can carry eight ambulatory patients, or two litters and four
ambulatory patients.
