Order the Operational Medicine CD, developed by the US Navy and US Special Operations Command

The ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) kit provides lighted access to the ears, nose and mouth, using a small otoscope, powered by the small flashlight. The equipment is packaged together in a zippered pouch. The kit includes:

  • ENT Pocket Light with clear lens

  • Otoscopic Head: Fits over the Pocket Light for magnified, lighted access to body cavities.

  • Fiber Optic Light Bender - Nasal Head

  • Nylon Eye Loop - Fits over the blue lens for removal of non-metallic objects from the eye.

  • Eye Magnet - Fits over the blue lens for removal of metallic objects from the eye.

  • Lighted metal curette - Fits over the clear lens for removal of ear wax or small foreign bodies from wounds.

  • Red lens - For night use, to prevent loss of night vision.

  • Cobalt Blue lens - Fits on the Pocket Light for use with flourescein

  • Disposable otoscope specula

  • (2) spare AAA batteries

  • (1) spare light bulb

  • Fluor-I-Strips - For placing fluorescein in the eye to aid in identifying abrasions and foreign bodies.
