Most women’s healthcare providers who initiate intravenous lines will do so within a conventional healthcare setting. But sometimes, an IV is needed outside of a conventional setting. This video demonstrates the starting of an IV in an unconventional setting. Originally produced by the U.S. Army in 1995, the procedure remains essentially unchanged.
