Listening to the Lungs

Listening to the Lungs

Listen to the lungs, remembering their anatomic position.

Note any asymmetry and abnormal breath sounds, such as wheezes, crackles, or rubs.

Listen to alternate lungs at the same level.

Listen to the anterior chest in the same way, avoiding the breasts and heart.
