Operational Medicine 2001
Detachable Interior Pocket Flap - Right (#9)

Order the Operational Medicine CD, developed by the US Navy and US Special Operations Command

Interior Pocket Flap, 18" x 14", Woodland Camo Fabric Pocket Having (2) 11" x 6 " Mesh Pockets with Velcro Closure Flaps.

Weight: .47 pounds empty, 3.26 pounds configured as an IV pack as described below

NSN: 6532-01-467-4991

This detachable pocket flap is versatile:

  • It clips securely inside the Medical Bag.
  • It is easily removed for carrying to the victim
  • It allows for rapid configuration and re-configuration of the MOLLE Medic Bag system.

Using a standard numbering system, this flap is attached to the right side of the Medical bag (as it lies open on the ground) and is numbered pocket #9. (Pockets #1, #2, #3, and #4 are the pouches attached to the vest. Pockets #5, #6, #7, and #8 are the additional pouches that may be attached to the outside of the Medical Bag, or carried inside the Medical bag.)

One standard configuration is to have Pocket #9 serve as the IV fluids package. This will give modest IV capability (2-500 ml bags and supporting supplies).
