Pyrethrins (RID, A-200)

Category:

  • Pediculicide

Description:

  • Topical pediculicide

Indications:

  • Head lice

  • Body lice

  • Pubic or crab lice

Warnings:

  • External use only

  • Avoid contact with eyes

  • Discontinue use in case of skin irritation

  • Poison if swallowed: call Poison Control immediately

 

 

Dosage:

Administered topically:  SHAKE WELL

  • Apply undiluted to dry hair and scalp or to any other infested area until entirely wet

  • Allow to remain on area for 10 minutes, but no longer

  • Wash thoroughly with warm water and soap or shampoo

  • Dead lice and eggs should be removed

  • Repeat treatment in 7-10 days to kill any newly hatched lice

  • Do not exceed 2 applications within 24 hour period
